Thank you for your comments Jack. We weren't the shipper, Blue Mountain was; nonetheless damage apparently occurred. On the other hand, we HAVE seen excessive damage from FED EX. The worst so far was an engine monitoring system supplied by Horizon Aerospace ($12K in gauges!) we sent to a customer in California. They were packaged by Horizon Aerospace and we reshipped them to the customer. They arrived with all of the glass broken out of them. I don't recall the dollar amount of damage, but I seem to remember around $4,500 and a huge lead time for repair, leaving the customer unable to proceed with his Lancair IV-P Turbine project. They all make mistakes! It's how they deal with it that counts.
