My attempt at humor at 3 am to try to explain why Gun Blue is readily available in America and not in Australia failed--it backfired and I most likely hurt Phil's feelings, for which I apologize.   I apologize to Phil, and I apologize to the site members for derailing the central theme of the site, which is to help others in their quest for building a better airplane.

To Phil, please accept my apologies.
