To elaborate on our testing with Blue Mountain, Greg Richter (owner) met with me in late January. The purpose of his visit was to introduce us to his system, install the system in one of our aircraft, and flight test it. Greg did show up to find that UPS (shipping company) had caused damage to his product which led to the system not working. In fact, Greg has a claim pending with UPS for the damage. Greg told me he would have a replacement unit sent for us to test, which didn't happen. After talking with Greg Monday, he offered to bring a working unit (in hand this time) and meet with me next week. Because we are getting ready for Sun N Fun, I've asked Greg to schedule his visit after we return from Lakeland, at which time I will perform complete testing on this new EFIS system and report back to the list. I want to make clear that I am not currently supporting his system or offering it to our customers until we test the product. Like most of you inquiring about this inexpensive EFIS, I want to know that it works. I want to know what to expect for $9600. I will post a full report in late April along with an update on other products coming to market. Additionally, if any of you have questions regarding any of the available EFIS systems, you are welcome to contact me at kirkh@lancair.com Kirk Hammersmith Lancair Avionics, Inc 541.923.2244 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://members.olsusa.com/mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please remember that purchases from the Builders' Bookstore assist with the management of the LML.
