As promised, here is the information regarding the pre-molded ELT bracket.
Refer to the Legacy Manual, page 24-4.  The bracket is sold through Lancair
Avionics for $35.  It is designed to mount under the optional rear
floorboard, either pilot or copilot side.  The angle provides a level
surface for the Artex ELT-200 mounting bracket.  The bracket should be ready
available to ship by 3/21/02.  Contact Amy if you have additional questions
