Contact Lee McKinley at 877 247 7767(MI, NY, PA) or 800 941 6677 (all other states)  His company is Aviation Insusrance Resources, and writes for Aerospace Insurance Managers, Inc.  I was insuring my IV through  Avemco while I was building until I found out  at the AOPA convention that they were no longer insuring flying IVs at the time.  Naturally, I dropped them pretty quickly and went with Lee on
liability (only) on the day before my first flight. (4/26/2000). Although I did not have any builders insurance after cancelling the Avemco, I think Lee could have gotten it for me.  Bob Young
