The latter one can engineer away, but I'm confused how to "shield" one's self from issues of the first one. The major AC sources are: Strobes Hyd pump antennas audio (more from an bleed into stand point) to make the wires pretty I'd like to put the strobe transformer right behind the panel and run the hyd pump power in the same conduit that runs down the center of the legacy. but we could put the strobe transformer in the wheel well and run the hyd power in another conduit.. so, I'm asking what wiring issues have you seen? The ones I've seen are: 1) one can hear the strobes in the intercom 2) AP trim up command on com transmit 3) AltAlert audio output had a signal on it when the unit blinked the display 4) com noise when gear moves and what have you done to fix it? In my cases: 1) move the strobe transformer to wingtips (easy in the Tiger) 2) make short transmits when AP engaged 3) add a switch to the AltAlert audio output, or stop its display blink 4) deal with it. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://members.olsusa.com/mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please remember that purchases from the Builders' Bookstore assist with the management of the LML.
