Does anybody know how the Vision Microsystems fuel probes are wired
internally? I would like to bench test them without the indicator gauge,
even if it means making an oscillator circuit to excite the capacitor.
Is there circuitry in the base of the probe? A capacitance meter
displays overrange on all three wires, and an ohm meter gives different
readings depending on which way you connect the leads. This implies
diodes or other active components inside the probe.
Any insight would be helpful.
Thanks,
