While I would never recommend using out-of-date Hysol for anything structural, there are countless other uses for it on your project after it has passed its expiration date... I use it for installing hard points, stand-offs, captive washers, wire-tie brackets, potting in bolts, etc.  I use those little pill cups  (probably about 1/2 oz capacity) to mix teeny batches (1-3 grams) or even the end of a tongue depressor anytime I'm faced with a gluing task that would otherwise require a flox or micro mixture to get a non-structural task completed.  These are much better uses for this stuff than having it become fodder for the round file, IMHO.  Just my $0.02.
