For the aileron and flap tubes, I found some rubber accordion style sleeves Skycraft in Orlando ) that I cut to fit over the tubes and secured them to the cockpit closeout rib on the cockpit side using silicone. I used some neoprene from a wet suit to closeout the hole where in inboard gear door cylinder penetrates the rib. I cut a circular patch and put a slit in the middle to allow the cylinder to move in and out. It works great. In retrospect, I would use the wet suit material for all the holes. If you're not sealing off the holes, your probably getting a good dose of carbon monoxide while taxing. I got a little light headed after a short flight during my first 10 hours of flying. That was it, I closed off all the holes in the cockpit closeout rib and haven't had any problems since. I also purchased one of the CO monitors from Walmart and have it sitting on the floor in the cabin next to my feet. However, I need to wire a remote light of the CO meter since you can't hear or see any alarms going off with it sitting on the floor. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
