Is the average organic respirator and a well ventilated shop good enough?<< Claudio; If you feel that you need a respirator, it needs to be one that is rated for chlorinated solvents. I very much doubt that you would ever reach the ppm threshold in your shop that you would need one; unless you spilt a large quantity on the floor etc. Here is the current OSHA limits for plants with employees re levels:http://www.sspc.org/site/regnews/aboutmc.html ~EXPOSURE LIMITS: The standard requires that no employee be exposed in excess of the PEL of 25 ppm as an 8-hour TWA or a short-term exposure limit (STEL) in excess of 125 ppm during a sampling period of 15 minutes. The action level for MC is 12.5 ppm calculated as an 8-hour TWA.~ Gary Rodgers >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
