I'm still not yet building, but I did buy a CH compressor and love it.  It's
a 23 gal tank and has a rank of "extreme" from CH.  It delivers (and I'm
guessing because I'm stranded in KC right now and not home) around 7.5 cfm
at 90 lbs.  It's loud, but not extremely so.  You can work with it in the
same room in the basement.
