I have the downpipe as shown but it bubbles water so much that it pops the overflow seal even with the filter in it. I drilled holes around the bottom of the pipe near the bottom but same effect. Any suggestions? Thanks Bart D. Hull [Yep, that thing will bubble that water at the bottom like mad... you really need to include the foam filter, maybe even a pair of them, over the inner motor housing to keep the water from fouling up the works. Additionally you only need about 1" of water above the bottom of the down-pipe to get it to work. If you've done those things and are still having a water problem at the motor the only solution is to install a couple of baffles 1/3 & 2/3 the way up the canister to stop the water from getting up to the motor housing. One of the advnatages to the vac shown on my webpage is that it is very deep, probably 30", and the dual foam filters work just fine at keeping the water down. Keep at it, where there's a will there's a way. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
