    Best way to cut the light lenses is with a fine-toothed blade on a
bandsaw.  Lacking that, you can do it with an ordinary hacksaw, but you have
to really be careful to support the material as you cut.  Just putting a
soft rag under the bandsaw table will do it -- keep the rag about 1/4" away
from the blade.  Small scratches can be buffed out.
    Grinders, etc., are not too good for cutting this material, since it
heats up and gets gummy.
