After 3 years in the composite work shop at Sun-n-Fun, I have grown accustom to the skin barriers. I use "ply 9" from Wicks, but Jim says "liquid gloves" is better. These products have mill spec ratings and are guaranteed to stop even acetone. I wear gloves over the barrier creams (jell) to keep down on the gross contamination and have been extremely happy with the results. The creams are around $7 to $8 dollars and a typical container will last a couple of years. (which is why I am still using ply 9) The creams wash off easily with soap and water. They must be re-applied after washing your hands. All the sticky comes off easily with soap and water, its impressive and makes composite work much more enjoyable. Jim puts it on his legs (when wearing shorts) and arms also at the beginning of the day.
