Products Research Corp (PRC) has made proprietary formula manganese dioxide/epoxy cured polysulfide/polythioether two part rubber tank, faying surface, fillet and window installation sealants for years and they are the best. It is made right here in Mojave, CA. The company has changed hands recently but still sells in my API catalog under PRC. It is more commonly known as Pro Seal. There are many varieties with properties for kerosene, naptha, gasoline and various other sealing chores with strengths and adhesions as well as setup times and mixing and application thicknesses for any application. I reccomment PR 1422 B2 for your job. PR 890 B2 is available from Aircraft Spruce and will last a long time in this application even tho it is a general purpose sealant. The A or B stands for thin or thick. The 1/2, 1, or 2 stands for the pot life in hours. All cure in 48 hours although some can be fueled in as little as two hours at 77 deg F. I have had much success making built in gaskets with PRC using the same release tape method we use for all of our micro/flox jobs.
