The reason: the 235 is very (perhaps even excessively) responsive in roll and pitch; something that the mass of larger airplanes helps to overcome. Please be very careful in using the 235 as an IFR platform and always use a reliable autopilot having both altitude hold and wing-leveling capabilities.
