My preference was two two-hour lessons per week -- one after work on
Wednesday and one first thing Saturday morning. A one-hour block is too
short, but with two hours you get a 1.3 hour sortie.
Whatever you pick, the key is to make it part of your regular schedule. If
the weather's bad, okay, you cancel (or do ground work) but it's still a
regularly scheduled event.
