A friend's Lancair had that same problem as you
described and I was in the plane once when it
happened.... eerie feeling indeed.
His solution to the problem was to change his fuel
selector for the new kind that lancair now stocks
(they don't keep the older kind anymore). But I think
he also mentioned that something in the selector
wasn't seating properly on its 'O' ring as when he
dismantled the unit they found that some fuel had
leaked under the upholstery. If fuel can leak out then
air can leak in right ?
You do have 1/2 inch fuel lines don't you ?
