I think tomorrow will see things picking up and it should be crazy by the weekend. Tomorrow morning at 11:30AM Jim Frantz is giving an Angle-of-Attack seminar in forum building #10, that's the SportAir pavilion. Jim's AOA forum runs from 11:30 to 12:45... the actual presentation is about 35 minutes, the rest of the time is devoted to questions and a lively AOA discussion. The Lancair Builders' Forum is taking place on Friday afternoon at 5:30 PM in forum pavilion #11, that's the Teledyne pavilion. In reality, this is the same place that we were last year, it's just that this year Teledyne is sponsoring that building... last year it was sponsored by Bose. We'll have some interesting speakers once again, Jim Frantz is going to talk about accident avoidance, Brent Regan has offered to bring us up to date on the state of the glass cockpit art, Tim Moncur is going to talk about a new AHRS unit that is under development, Bob Fair is going to talk a bit about interesting things coming from the factory, Doug Pohl is scheduled to tell us a bit about Engineair, and I'll probably spend a little time on the LML and LNN. It should be very interesting. Not Oshkosh related, but certainly of some importance... you might have noticed that another post snuck through the approval process that contained a virus. I hope that the horrible mess we suffered through back around SnF was enough of a reminder for everyone so no one clicked on that attachment.... remember, the LML is NEVER supposed to have any attachments. IF an LML comes through with an attachment it is an accident and should be very suspect. Please DON'T CLICK ON ANYTHING that comes stuck to an LML post. It doesn't belong there and should be considered infected. Just delete the attachment and get on with business. My apologies to everyone, but this thing has been bombarding us here at LML central, and even though we've been taking extra care at insulating everyone from this stuff, one managed to sneak through. Today alone there were 28 copies of this thing that came from various people, most of whom I've never heard of. Just keep your guard up and don't click on anything if you can help it. Hopefully this thing will run its course in another few days and we can get on with our lives. Thanks for your understanding. PS... if you're already at Oshkosh, or coming there in a day or two, please stop by exhibitors' building "B" and look Jim and myself up in booth 2113, just few steps up the right hand central aisle. Looking forward to seeing you there. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
