This only happens once on the first tank switch, but it certainly gets your attention. By the time you are ready to try something, it is running again. We are pulling the inspection panels tonight to see if the flexible fuel line is as flat as possible, thinking there may be a high spot trapping vapor. And then there is the rigid fuel line that enters the cabin that also has a high spot in the line the is much more difficult to do anything about. I have tried the following: To purge fuel through the system, I have pulled the mixture and turned on the fuel pump for 30 seconds on each tank before starting. I have also taxied out on one tank and run up on the other. I have also run up twice using each tank. All to no avail. Note: I am typically climbing to FL 200, then leaning to 50-100 LOP, stabilizing cruise and then switching the tank. Any suggestions?
