 You must have read the same article as I did in the "The NACA Duct", a NASA publication devoted to the efficient collection and disemination of hot air.  The lead story, "Leaden Jet Jockey Shorts Stops UV", was about an overweight ace pilot, Iam Shorts, keeping the University of Vermont from using aluminium foil for a mummy wrap on the Chinese philosopher, Sun Spot.  Perhaps you interpreted the story differently than I.
