John,
My hinges are already bonded in place and work just fine. After reading
a post about the inevitable wear in them, I thought I'd give the teflon
sleeved pins a try. While I haven't yet gotten them into the trim tab
hinges, I have several suggestions to try next time I work on the plane.
Even if all else fails, the original pins work fine. Had I known about your
hinges before I installed these, I'd have given them a try, but I'm sure you
can underestand my reluctance to remove and replace perfectly good ones
before I've even flown yet.
Thanks for the suggestion though,
Skip
