I had the pleasure to visit John Barrett at his home in Port Angeles, WA two
days ago. Although it was a fast encounter I sure did get lots of info from
John (he's just ahead of me). I hope he picked up something usefull from
me. In any case it was great to meet yet another builder in this
fraternity.
I also purchased an additional foot of CarbHinge for my oil door and ground
power plug access panel. I am very impressed with the quality of the
product Barrett/Garrett turns out. I only wish I had started out with their
CarbHinge in place of the MS stuff.
Thank you John,
Walter Dodson IV-P 60%?
ps: We vowed to find the best possible shoulder harness setup. His Beech
Sierra has a unique pair of inerta reels mounted between the seats with the
"hooks" up at the over-the-shoulder locations. They are completely
independent of the seat belts. I found it comfortable and easy to use. My
guess is it's an addition to the basic airframe put in when harnesses became
a required item for front the seats.
