I am in the process of setting the up and down stops and rigging the
elevators on my Lnce 2. In setting the check nuts on the elevator push tubes
I'd like to know if using locktite is an accepted or recommended procedure.
The concern I have is that a check nut - most notably the ones at both ends
of the aft push tube - could vibrate loose. Neither of these check nuts is
in an area that is easily accessible for pre-flight inspection. So what is
the proper way to secure these push tubes and how mush trust do I put in
these check nuts?

Thanks,

Doug
