Jim, etc:
I found over the years that re-starting a "heat soaked" Injected TCM engine
be it IO or TSIO, is best accomplished by flooding it then do a flooded
start. This accomplishes 2 things:
1. Purge air out of the fuel system, from the fuel selector to the injectors.
2. Puts the pilot in the proper frame of mind, ie. he knows that he is
starting a flooded engine. You all know the routine: Mixture back, Throttle
open, Start, Mixture rich, throttle (1000-1200 rpm) idle, stand by the primer
switch/button. If the engine still runs a little rough (vapor) try running
the low boost for a few minutes..
