Fellow listers -

After a few months of flight on my Lancair 360 (MK II)  I have noticed that
in level flight the leading edge of the elevator (the counterbalance area)
is about 1/4" or 3/8" above the horizontal stabilizer.

My plane is pushing the forward CG range, so I don't think it is a CG issue,
but more likely an incidence issue.  I had a "professional" builder install
the tail, and I suppose it is possible the incidence is wrong.

A couple of questions:

1.  What are the ramifications of this - safety, speed..?
2.  What, if anything, can or should be done about it?

One annoying impact of this is that the control stick is not in a
comfortable position in level flight- it is too far forward.  I can probably
adjust it, but is that compensation a bad thing?

Thanks,

Matt
