MSD Competition Fuel Injectors
Hi folks,
Here is the MSD web site with a lot of information
on injectors that may be of assistance. The MSD 2013 injectors are 50
lbs/hr and the high impedance type (12 ohms). I used the MSD 2012 in my
TMW 4 injector throttle body on my first 86 N/A engine and they worked just
fine.
I don't know about Dave ATkins EFI, but most do not
accommodate injectors of different impedances or flow rates. It sounds
reasonable if you are using Tracy Crooks EC2 that the resistors might only be
needed for the low impedance pair, but you would need to check with him to make
certain. Also, there is some capability to adjust injector timing betweens
secondaries and primaries, but not enough, I don't think, to accommodate
different size injectors.

Direct Replacement
Injectors Some of MSD’s
Competition Fuel Injectors can be used with the factory electronic control
modules. The following are a few recommended applications: PN 2010.............Replaces the secondary injector on ZR-1
Corvettes. PN 2011.............This is a replacement for
the GM Quad IV, 2.3L DOHC engine. PN 2016.............A direct replacement
injector for the GM 5.0L engine. PN 2016.............For Ford 5.0L engines, this
injector matches the stock flow rate. PN 2017.............A replacement for Chevrolet
5.7L engines. PN 2019.............Direct replacement to for
earlier LT-1 engines. |
