If everything works out as planned (shhhh, don't tell my employer), I'll have a couple months off to work on the plane full time. I hope to make some serious progress. Unfortunately, I'm currently scheduled to go to Cleveland for two ^&*#$ weeks on Monday. I hate working for morons.

I hate working for morons, too, but be glad that you have the chance right now, Rusty. My project is starting to run into serious road blocks due to my inability to find work as a Software Engineer in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina. I've made a lot of progress since August, but I'm about to hit a wall. Doesn't do much good to have 40hrs a week to work, if you have nothing to work with. Right now, I have an engine waiting for me to come up with $1500, but I'm just hoping that I don't get a foreclosure notice and lose my workshop.
If anyone know of a position for a Software Engineer, please let me know. I am willing to travel to surrounding states.
