FAA ISSUES AIRWORTHINESS CONCERN SHEET ON FOLLOWING TURBOCHARGED CESSNA MODELS, T182, T-R182, T206, T207, P210, T210, T303, 320, 335, T337, 340, 401, 402, 411, 414 AND 421. . . The FAA issued an Airworthiness Concern Sheet (ACS) dated 30 June 2004 due to accidents attributed to failure of the turbocharger system. The FAA is requesting information on the adequacy of the Pilots Operating Handbook to address the inflight loss of the turbocharger system and the maintenance procedures to address the turbocharger system performance in order to detect an impending failure. There is a short 30 day comment period. Included with the ACS is 30 plus pages of service difficulty reports on turbocharger systems.
