I think the plane you are talking about is owned by Dave Garber.
It's not a Long Ez but a one off tandem engined push me pull me rig built
for racing. TINY wings, twin turbo charged 12As, planetary
gearboxes made from a helicopter planet set. The gears looked good
for lots of torque.
