I also drilled through the center scroll as well during my rebuild as per the ATS guys.

Which one is the “central scroll” ? Is it the divider between the two openings under the wastegate?
I was planning of opening a maybe 2” hole behind the wastegate to allow it to fully open and a 2”stack to give the gasses straight way out, Something like the drawing, but without the big spacer.
