I searched the Maxtor site
for "altitude", and only found one drive that gave a spec. It's basically their latest
and greatest SATA drive. Looks like you'll be fine at high
altitude, as long as you don't turn the drive on :-)
Operating: -650 to 10000 ft
Non-operating: -650 to 40000
ft
Rusty (would have never
thought about a problem with HDD's at altitude)
