I just did a quick comparison to the photo Ed Posted.
Vastly different plugs - mainly in the way the pins are
separated.
One of my sons has a '97 S-10 4cyl. Next time I see him
(he lives in San Diego) I see if I can get part #s off
his coils and harness.
