I have been flying my Rotary Powered Zenair Zenith for several years with a canopy defroster/cabin heater connected to the hot coolant outlet on the rear housing. The hot coolant return is on the coolant pump. I have been using the one facing the firewall, but I have also used one facing the engine. Both worked quite well. Barbed pipe fittings on the rear housing and on the coolant pump
Where are you located.? I am in the Sherbrooke, Québec, area.
Yvon Cournoyer.
