Jim, I found a small/light oil cooler from Earls, found a 12V Fan (one they
have as surplus in all the electronic sale catalogs), build a frame to
attach the fan to the back of the core and build a fiberglass duct to aim
the hot air at the pilot with a flap so I could sort of adjust the air flow.
I feed it hot water from the coolant system (I also have a cut off valve
should a leak ever develop) It keeps the toes from freezing but I could not
describe the cabin as toasty when the OAT <32F. But, part of that is I fly
with no thermostat so the coolant temp frequently drops to around 150F.
