Trying to purchase a starter for Tracy's re-drive.
He specs a 1986-88 non-turbo RX7 manual transmission model.
Apparently 1988 or later are supposed to be lighter.
Howver, a search at www.RockAuto.com  gives:

On  another web site I've seen a BOSCH F5000-27282 listed at 8.18 pounds.

I sure would appreciate input from anybody who have weight and configuration data on these.
I need the solenoid above the starter and lowest weight.
