I just happened to think that since with the 2.85 gears, the rpm band = will be moved approx 1000 rpm higher that may greatly aid the mechanics = of the DIE variable length manifold. I had to cut approx 2" off my = desired design length to get this one to fit under the cowl and was = thinking I would have to design a lower manifold to drop the base down a = couple of inches to regain that length. But, now with a higher rpm band = that automatically shortens the required length.
