Well, that's a thought, Rusty.  Perhaps I could extend it to give warnings of leaking tires {:>).  Glad it got you home, replacing a tire out on the road has got to be more dangerous than an engine out landing - at least there you only have one idiot to watch out for {:>).

Well, 'bout ready to place my order for my Monster 76/88 prop from Performance Propellers.  Tracy's is 74/88 but he feels that with the 2.85 even longer diameter props can be accommodated.  If too much prop, Clark Lydick will trim the diameter.  So will ship my RD-1B to Tracy to have it converted to a 2.85 RD-1C after I finish attending a couple more flyins in May.  Hard to get his "vertical" take off out of my mind.

Tightened up the belts and voltage was back to 14.6 and battery up to 12.8 volts, so all appears to be well.  Glad it was that easy.

Glad to hear that's all it was.  You may be the only person on the list with a calibrated belt tension warning.  Perhaps you can use this, and your recent motorized intake experience to make a variable tension drive :-)

Cheers,
Rusty (back home, just barely.  Tire went flat 30 minutes after getting to my driveway last night)
