Incident probably caused by much earlier testing where I was running the water pump on a test stand with plain water to determine flow rates. Although I drained the water after the test, enough remained to cause a build up of corrosion. Shipped the engine back to Bruce Turrentine and he reassembled the engine, installed new freeze plugs and had no more problems.
