Hi Doug

Are you referring to EC2 or EM2 wiring here?

I have two versions of the EC2 documentation, one dated 2011 and the other 2014. Both circuits are similar. My version of the EC2 only uses one temp sender for the A processor. The B processor doesn’t use air temp in its fuel calculation.

I have an EM3 and don't know anything about the circuit of an EM2  so can’t comment. The EM3 has one temp sensor, being OAT.

Cheers

Thanks for the replies to pulley and timing…I’ll give your suggestions a try!

I'm re-reading my “EC2 EFI/Ignition Controller Set up and Installation Guide” (received from Tracy in 2006), and I purchased a wiring harness from Bob White, and his installation guide shows two inputs called “Air Temp 2" (pins 2, 1, and 23) and also “Air Temp 1” (pins 19, 22, 23).  I can’t find any information on what the purpose of two inputs are sourced from prior to termination.

I would assume Air Temp 1 might need to originate in the intake manifold for Controller “A”,  and Air Temp 2 would be located away from engine heat to provide outside air temp to the EM2 for TAS calculations…is that correct?

THANKS!

P.S.  Does anyone know if Tracy’s old company (RWS) is still in business?  It appears they are out of stock on most items, or only have “3 ins stock”, etc.  I was hoping to get a DVD version of Bruce Turrentine’s overhaul video (in case my VHS player dies), and they showed a couple still available...
