Doug, I don't know where your pulley came from but I= wouldn't worry too much about it either.  Set your engine to TDC acco= rding to procedure provided by Lynn Hannover.
Something like this:  Make and attach a timing marker that lines up wi= th the starter ring gear; mark the corresponding tooth on the ring gear, co= unt the number of teeth and divide by 360 to determine teeth per degree; co= unt in correct direction on ring gear number of teeth to represent 25 degrees BTDC - mark that tooth with a diff= erent color. Set your engine to 25 BTDC then go to your crank angle sensor = and align the first pickup sensor with the crank pointer ... Tracy's Manual= gives a similar set of instructions.
