Engine strapped down to a truck.  250lb me on the end of a 3' bar. Tap the head with a hammer to cause a ringing vibration.  Make sure you're turning it the right way.

Marc,
I sometimes have bolted a 2x4 onto the flywheel, and then let it contact the ground on the side you are pushing down on the breaker bar (helps remove net torq on the engine).  Then I usually have someone also stand on the engine.  My breaker bar extension is 6' long.

I did put the counterweight and flywheel nut back on to be able to bolt a bar to the counterweight to keep the eccentric shaft from turning when trying to get the eccentric bolt off. Here is what I have tried so far: breaker bar extension pipe (+3’); propane torch on bolt for 2 min to break any sealant (?); impact wrench-nada; sledge hammer on breaker bar; solvent.
