Some finer points on this version of the engine that might aid aircraft usage: 1. Direct fuel injection (said to aid efficiency) 2. Plasma coated AL side housings! (Less weight) 3. Wider apex seals(?) And it seems perhaps this entire package (perhaps minus the variable valve timing?) could fly in a hybrid aircraft form admirably? Wonder what it would all weighs-engine, electric gen, ecu package, batteries, AND a combo new prop/electric motor?
