Seems to be a lot easier cooling an air cooled engine compared to a water cooled one.
300F delta T (400 - 100F OAT) compared to 100F (200 - 100F OAT) if we target water inlet temp at 200F.

With their rather small plenum, most of the diffusion must be external, and likely a lot of turbulence (drag) at any angle of attack other than straight into the wind.

No clue what Bernoulli has to do with it.
