Hi there people and hopefully Tracy’s listening in.
In swapping out my EC2 for an EC3 this week I discovered that on my setup the EM3 Engine Information Page PFUN field seems to indicate a wiring error. Instead of the PFUN field reading the Mode Selector as incrementing through 00 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09, instead it reads 00 01 02 03 08 09 0A 0B 04 05 This is what you would get if the wires for bits 2&3 of the Head Units Mode Selector were reversed.
When I checked my wiring against the EC2 Installation and Programming Guide, it is correct. However, when I checked the schematic we have labelled EC2 Rev.B0, this shows those same Mode Selector Head Unit wires (bits 2&3) swapped, accounting for the error I found.
This would suggest possibly a board track error that was then resolved in a code revision. Now having changed the code in my EC2 and EC3 it has now appeared with the result that Modes above 3 are scrambled or u/s.
Can either Tracy clarify this or are others aware of this issue.
Help here would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Steve Izett
