Fine tuning operation aspects of an installation is always interesting, however, less we forget there are other aspects of such a project that we have to get past.

Attach is a cherished "award" presented to me by Tracy and Laural Crook some years ago (2002), detailing some of my more "interesting" failure modes.  Some more serious than others but all serious.  This was the incidents up to 2002 and I flew over another decade and while fewer , still  had other attention getting situations.

A couple resulted in two engine-out glides/landings (fortunately to an airport).  One was over 12 miles from 9600 ft downwind to a small airport on the Alabama/Tennessee boarder.  Still had altitude to do a 360 before coming over the fence at around 100 mph, (pumping the rudder side to side to bleed off airspeed) making one of my smoothest touch downs and rolling out on the runway - all with that windmill in front stopped.  Fun indeed.

Just though your might find at blast from the past  interesting.
