As I recall, in 2014 or 15 (maybe earlier) there were two RV-8's from California with Powersport Mazda conversions at Oshkosh that were done up as warbirds (P-40 and P51). The really scary thing is : the next "Alternative Engine" is going to be an electric motor ... and we think there are electrical complications now.
