Hi Matt, I could be wrong but your muffler looks like the one MISTRAL installed, failed, and brought down their test aircraft ... not sure why you are going that route?
Yep, looks like the easiest, most compact design but why flog a dead horse.  Three or four feet downstream from the exhaust ports is a much safer place for a roll-your-own muffler.

I only used 0.050"thick 321ss for the inside perforated pipe. I'm guessing I should find thicker pipe, and add more holes for version: 14 ?
