I had a high quality Schrader valve with metal cap at the top of the engine water outlet. This helped bleed the air out during filling and ground run. I had CHT wires clamped to each outlet and could see when the air purged from each radiator.

Finn

I had a RX7 engine with two A/C cores for radiators, but here is what I found worked

1. Fill as best as possible, then use aircompressor to take it to operating pressure while cold

2. Run engine up to operating temperature, using highest revs possible on ground when warm

3. While hot, bleed air pressure from system, when cool, replenish reservoir

4. Repeat at least once, then go fly, and check after flight to replenish.

Like running engine at a certain RPM?

Repeated heating/cool-down periods?

Trying to determine reason for higher coolant temperature drop over
right radiator vs left radiator.

I tried swapping hoses from engine to rads (one has a 90 degree bend).
But am concerned that there may be air trapped in the system leading to
incorrect comparison readings.
