The RWS RD-1C manual specifically states: NO restrictor in oil supply 
line (unlike the Ross drive).

"22. ... _*IMPORTANT: Unlike the Ross Drive, no restrictor is to be used 
in the oil feed line!*_"

The RD-1C is designed with bearing and other clearances to use full oil 
pressure and flow.

If you don't have a copy of the/RD-1C Gear Reduction Drive Installation 
Guide/ one of us will be happy to get it to you.
